F. Holland Day was an influential pioneer in photography. He was one of the first pictorialists in the United States. While other pioneers of pictorialism mostly photographed landscapes, F. As a professional photographer I really appreciate your tribute to the technology and variety of the medium. The camera is only a brush used to express the mind.
