“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive...”

“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.”

MUSIC: Leonid & Friends perform Chicago's "Beginnings"

WOW! WOW! WOW!

Don't Miss This One!

It is F'n AWESOME!

What a great rendition of a Chicago classic

This is one of my favorite Chicago songs

I remember so many good times and good feelings

Cruising down the highway listening to this song

This song Always Makes me Feel So Good!

Cover bands often leave me disappointed

NOT THIS GROUP

They played it right

I was thoroughly satisfied and then some

I had to listen to it again and again
And even more incredible
This group is from Moscow

For more info on the band
Here is their website: LINK

The horn part near the end
Starting with the trombone riff
Followed by the trumpets entrance
DayUM! gave me the chills
WOOOO WEEEEEEEE!
Feels so Fuckin' Fine!

"What happens when a gifted musician and producer decides to pay tribute to one of his favorites bands? He assembles some of the best musicians he can find to record some of the greatest Pop/Jazz/Rock music ever! Reverently arranged, brilliantly performed, recorded in a state-of-the-art studio. It's like hearing those songs again for the very first time --- fresh, alive, full of heart.@ - David Stafford

It really is like hearing it for the very first time!

WOW!

LEO BUSCAGLIA QUOTES

“Don't spend your precious time asking

"Why isn't the world a better place?"

It will only be time wasted.

The question to ask is

"How can I make it better?"

To that there is an answer.”

~Leo Buscaglia

~*~

“Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow,

it only saps today of its joy.”

~Leo Buscaglia

~*~

“The easiest thing to be in the world is you.

The most difficult thing to be

is what other people want you to be.

Don't let them put you in that position.”

~Leo Buscaglia

~*~

“Don't hold to anger, hurt or pain.

They steal your energy and keep you from love.”

~Leo Buscaglia

~*~

"I am often accused of being childish.  I prefer to interpret that as child-like.  I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things.  I tend to exaggerate and fantasize and embellish.  I still listen to instinctual urges.  I play with leaves.  I skip down the street and run against the wind.  I never water my garden without soaking myself.  It has been after such times of joy that I have achieved my greatest creativity and produced my best work."

~Leo Buscaglia
