 A Note from AOM:
Listening to symphonic music is like going on a hike - the further you walk, the more grand, beautiful vistas you will encounter. As you journey through this music you will be rewarded by gorgeous musical, emotionally glorious moments. I highly recommend you listen to this extraordinary symphonic suite. Enjoy your hike!

"This was a symphony, not a collection of songs. This album is well worth the listen. It is inspiring and gorgeous. The music is filled with optimism and it is something sorely needed in days such as these. Give it a listen, you won't regret it."(Amazon Review)

American Dream by Thomas Bergersen
is an orchestral suite that follows the journey of a young boy who travels from Europe to America in the early 1900s in search for adventure, fortune and happiness. The music explores an extensive musical language ranging from baroque to modern classical music, all tied together in the overarching and distinct style of Thomas’ musical language. The suite was written for a large symphony orchestra and choir, and performed by the Bulgarian Studio Orchestra Four For Music under the direction of George Strezov.

American Dream, released on August 1, 2018, is the third stand-alone (solo) album and also the first symphonic suite written by Thomas Bergersen.

Another NOTE from AOM:
This piece of music is 43 minutes long
There is so much going on in this piece
That I suggest you visit all the other posts
Then come back to listen to this
I recommend that you do nothing else but listen
I do think using your hands and fingers
To conduct and keep time will help you get into this music better
Stay with this one
It has a most glorious finale
Brought tears of joy to my eyes
It was so gloriously beautiful
I heard sections that reminded me of other great composers
One sounded like Beethoven
Another Bach
An Irish Jig and a Spanish Malaguena
I could hear the influences of Aaron Copeland
John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith,

This music is an event that is best experienced
By being totally immersed in the music
Immerse yourself in this Hike
There are glorious and exciting moments to be experienced
ENJOY YOUR HIKE!
