GLORIOUS - INSPIRING - UPLIFTING
Years ago, mid-90s I think,
CBS used this music
As their final music video homage
To the Olympics of that year
And it was perfection!
Now
I can be scary obsessive
When it comes to finding music I want
Well
CBS didn't credit the music
And I HAD to find it but I had no clue how to find it
To make matters worse
I would often hear it used in other movie trailers
Teasing me, "You don't know meeee!"
I think it took me over a year
Until I FINALLY found it
A figure skater (Michele Kwan I think) performed to it
And there I finally saw the credits
Randy Edelman, music to Dragonheart
So here it is
Overall
It doesn't FLOW as I would like
It feels a bit disjointed to me
That's probably because it was written
For the end titles of the movie
But the parts are so beautiful
That it makes a gorgeous suite
And YES
There are some lovely French horn parts
I think this would go really well with today's photo set
(Next post below this one)
Randy Edelman
