I'm playing around with a new idea. I'd like to share things I think about. I don't know if my thoughts are good or right, correct or true - just thoughts from my stream of consciousness. So I think of these thoughts as marbles that roll around inside my head. : ) I know! I know! I've lost most of them - but there's still a few left. So please don't expect brilliance here in this section. I share them because so much of what I think never gets shared because I always want to make sure they are perfectly well thought out. So here it goes.
So! For today. I've been working on a short little piece that attempts to expose a major - if not THE major problem in the United States - It is how divided we are as a nation and how much hatred and anger there is here among ourselves. In fact, it is so bad that all our enemies have to do is wait us out, and we will destroy ourselves.
So here's my little diddy. I'd like for you to critique it. Is it ready for prime time or does it still need work? If it needs work, what should I change?
Here is the short story:
Russia’s Vladimir Putin, China’s Xi Jinping, and N. Korea’s Kim Jong-un were sitting in a bar when Putin said, "I tell joke."
"Two Americans were sitting at a bar.
The first American said,
"I believe in tax cuts for the wealthy."
The other American said,
"I believe in tax spending to help the needy."
Both Americans jumped up, whipped out their guns, shot and killed each other."
Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong-un laughed and laughed and laughed.
With his infamous wry grin, Putin leaned over to Kim Jong-un and said,"Kim, save your nukes. The Americans are destroying themselves better than we could ever do. They hate each other more than they hate us. All we have to do is sit back and watch them self-destruct. America’s ruin won't cost us a ruble, a yuan, a won, or one red dime."
