A Most Beautiful Melody
The melody swirls around each orchestral section
I especially love the French Horn solo
Speculation: Time mid-1800s
One of the most popular composers of this time
Was Robert Schumann whose wife was Clara
Robert welcomed an up-and-coming composer,
Johannes Brahms, into their lives.
It is speculated that Brahms and Clara
Fell in love and perhaps had an affair
Brahms himself had this to say,
"Apart from Frau Schumann,
I’m not attached to anybody with my whole soul."
Some have suggested that this music,
Symphony 3 Movement 3,
Was his declaration of love for Clara
It certainly is a most emotional piece
And whether it is true or not
It does make a good romance story
