Tom Daley
Namaste Sweetie,
Happy Hump Day!!!
I didn't know if I would make AOM today
I had a bit of a bad day yesterday
Somethings happened to really piss me off
I struggled with a storm of anger raging through me
Or rather,
I tried not to struggle
But just sit with it, breathe through it, accept it and watch it
Rather than try to suppress or engage my anger
Anger isn't bad or good
Anger is Anger
A normal, healthy human emotion
How I react to anger
Determines whether I am using it in healthy or unhealthy ways
I wasn't totally healthy the entire time
: $
But it helped being able to watch it
Accept it, and let its energy flow through
I still have lots of learning to do
But man! I've come a very long way
: )
I wish you a Peaceful Day!
One
small
positive thought
in the morning
can change
your whole day
for the better
Let us continue to promote
Peace and Love
and continue to build
The more Beautiful World
Our Hearts know is Possible
Peace and Love,
AOM
~*~
I invite you to join me now in this short Metta Prayer
Radiating the energy of peace and love out to all living beings
Take a few deep breaths to clear your mind
And focus on the here and now
This present moment
Now
Breathe in
Filling your being with peace and love
As you begin each line, breathe out slowly
Breathing these thoughts into the world
Reading, thinking, and feeling the words with peace and love
Sending them from your heart
Giving the energy to yourself and to all living beings
Breathe in and repeat the process for each line

I am glad you did make it here today. I know and understand about anger. It is something I also struggle with and like you I have come a long way, but still have moments of "relapse."
It is true, Anger is "a normal, healthy human emotion. How I react to anger Determines whether I am using it in healthy or unhealthy ways."
It was in my later years of life (and reinforced here on your blog) that I finally learned how to deal with this issue. I realized that hate and anger only hurts ME. I can be as mad as I want but that anger doesn't do one thing to the person or situation I am mad at. It only makes me hurt and feel bad. Once I truly realized this and put this to heart, the pain goes away, I try to use these situations as a learning tool to look at what I can do to eliminate a situation from happening again in the future, let it go and move on.
Sorry that you had to deal with this yesterday. Also LMAO at your paragraph on you anger followed-up by "I wish you a Peaceful Day!" hehe. Peace to you today as well. Hugs.
Sorry that happened. I know when I get that angry, I pace, rant and rave; I vent. I get it all out, then I sit and relax, meditate on whatever it was that pissed me off to that extent. It helps me get through it, and then I'm typically smiling and laughing again. Let the sunshine in, my friend. Love, hugs, licks, and strokes, bro - WHK
Anger can erupt seemingly from nowhere. It can be a natural reaction if it is not disproportionate to its cause. Anyway to deal with the anger is taxing and serves only to hurt oneself, that is why I shall not say that it's healthy.
As for me, if I have been angry, it happened so long ago that I swear I don't remember when. Either annoyed, disappointed, frustrated, exasperated, irritated, or ticked off, yes, but not angry and even less furious, if we share a common understanding of these words.
Love, hugs and bisous, my darling chéri.
