To prohibit people of seeing human beings naked
It is my conclusion
that a great number of Americans
must be suffering from a dis'ease'
Something is really f'd up in the American culture
To bring about such attacks and prohibitions
Against the Natural Human Body
I know how we got here -
A culture dominated by a misguided view
Of religious teachings created by men
who sought to control others

Personally, I think more nakedness is needed
The more naked the world gets
The less "threatening" naked will be
When something becomes
A normal, everyday occurrence
Then we stop thinking about it
It just is
And I hope one day
The vast majority of people will wake up
And learn to shuck off their cultural shackles
Stop believing the lies
of those who wish to control them

By their own leave

Newt (adulterer) and his Moral (bullshit) Majority started this in the 90s. The religious right (evangelicals) jumped on his bandwagon and they have been crusading ever since. These are the men (& women) who are ashamed of their bodies - particularly the men. But, yes, one can hope we overcome.
