"What makes us miserable, what causes us to be in conflict with one another, is our insistence on our particular view of things: our view of what we deserve or want, our view of right and wrong, our view of self, our view of other, our view of life, our view of death. But views are just views. They are not ultimate truth."

“It’s the action, not the fruit of the action, that’s important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there’ll be any fruit. But that doesn’t mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”
~Mahatma Gandhi

These are great quotes. Gandhi's quote is one that the whole world needs to take note of. It can be difficult at times, but we all need to "do the right thing." It is possible that we may not see the "fruit" in our lifetime, but if we do the wrong thing, the same is true. We may not see the damage caused by the wrong thing in our lifetime, but eventually our World will have to pay for the wrong choices.
Thanks for sharing these quotes.
Your post is a steady source of inspiration. The Gandhi quote speaks so much truth. Thanks you, again, for finding and sharing this wisdom with us.
