I think that it has not escaped your notice that Anthony de Mello should take the fact that the rose is unable to do things differently in consideration. This applies for the lamp too. This applies for the tree too. In fact, I cannot help but think Anthony wanted to prove that this applies to God too, in the same way. Exactly the contrary of his conclusion.
